Proper local multiplayer allows for coordination when playing those boss levels on the Lost Temple of Crossy Road Castle. Here was a session with my daughter. This particular speedrun is a bit more finicky than others, especially the level that I made the thumbnail and level 15. I went into full "just don't die" mode, no investment into creativity, got a personally acceptable score, and called it a wrap. Where is that new tower?! I'll take the original game mode any day, all day.

Unfortunately, online multiplayer links you up with random people, unless if you prearrange I guess to hop on to the server at the same time (I have done this once when playing with the kids as local multiplayer on multiple devices mandates different Game Center accounts.

Well, I’ve a life that makes it real hard to optimize speed runs, eg this was after “just” 2 hours of experimentation then just not dying… I was never a hardcore gamer So as long as I don’t die with a top 100 standing I’ll take it! 😆

This Apple support article will help: support.apple.com/en-my/HT201290 As hinted there, I find that mkv’s and the like (e.g. wmv’s) do not work well with the TV app. Basically stuff that can play on QuickTime without the need for plugins should be ok.
@@anakayub Thanks so much, have you found any other work around to get MKV to work? maybe an app on the apple TV? i'm guessing subtitles may be hard to implement if they are seperate, but i haven't tried anything yet.
I haven’t spent much effort to make it work and stuck to stuff that works natively in the Appleverse. Just making the mka audio files from the Battle for Wesnoth game work nice with Final Cut Pro needed twisted engineering: I played the files via VLC and used the Soundsource & Loopback apps to route to QuickTime for audio recording. This is because iTube Studio's ability to convert mka to to Apple-friendly formats is trash (luckily that's not why I bought the app). Talking about VLC however, they do advertise themselves as being compatible with mkv files to play on iOS devices, including the Apple TV, so maybe that is a workaround that you can explore.

@@steveco75 The key is really timing your jump while bouncing on the Jello (I think jumping over is easier than passing below it). To help you, you could position yourself at the left edge of jello to avoid the right spiked cube, then when the time is right (as regards to the left spiked cube), jump far left to avoid the "cannon" then quickly shift right to safely get to the lower ledge (unlike the way I squeezed in above)
